Alycia is known for her flexibility and dedication, offering both in-studio and outdoor sessions to fit your needs. Her studio is located in the historic Metals Bank Building in Uptown Butte, and she frequently photographs clients in the beautiful surrounding streets of Historic Uptown.

What is the total cost of each photo session? What does it include, and how many photos will I receive?

All sessions include:

• The sitting fee

• Professionally edited images

• A private online gallery

• Full-resolution downloads with print release

• A 30–60 minute session, either on-location or in-studio

You can typically expect to receive 30–50 edited images per session.

Newborn sessions may include 20–50 images, depending on how the session goes.

How long does a photo session take?

• Family, Maternity, and Kids Sessions typically last 30 minutes to 1 hour

• Newborn Sessions usually take 1 to 2 hours, and may extend up to 3 hours depending on the baby’s needs

• Senior Portraits range from 30 minutes to 3 hours, based on your selected package

• Holiday Mini Sessions are scheduled for 15–20 minutes

What is included in a Holiday Mini Session?

Holiday Mini Sessions include a 20-minute session, 10–20 professionally edited digital images, one festive backdrop, multiple poses, and a private online gallery to view, share, and download your photos.

Please note: Gift cards are not accepted for mini sessions.

These sessions are announced on my Facebook page and are booked on a first come, first served basis.

Can I book a Mini Session instead of a full session?

Mini Sessions are offered only during select times of the year, typically around the holidays, and are scheduled by Alycia. They are available on a first come, first served basis through online booking only.

Please note: Gift cards are not valid for Mini Sessions unless “Mini Session” is printed on the card.

Can I include extended family in my Holiday Mini session?

If you'd like photos with extended family members, you'll need to book two back-to-back time slots. Each slot is $125, and this ensures enough time and space for everyone to be properly photographed.

Can we take family photos during a Holiday Mini Session?

Holiday Mini Sessions are designed specifically for children only. However, Alycia occasionally offers family-themed mini sessions (such as for Mother’s Day or Christmas) and will announce these on her Facebook Page when available.

How far in advance should I book a session?

Fall, Winter, and Christmas Sessions (September–December)

These are the busiest months of the year and tend to book quickly. It’s best to schedule your session 2–4 months in advance to secure your preferred date.

All Other Sessions

For sessions outside the fall/winter season, booking 1–2 months in advance is usually sufficient.

Newborn Sessions

For the best posing options, newborn sessions should be scheduled within the first 10 days after birth. As soon as your little one arrives, feel free to contact Alycia via phone, Facebook message, or email, and she’ll work with your family’s schedule to find the best time.

Holiday Mini Sessions

Holiday Minis are scheduled exclusively by Alycia and announced via her Facebook Business Page. These are first come, first served, and a $50 deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your spot.

Due to high demand, Alycia is unable to reserve spots for Holiday Mini sessions in advance—thank you for your understanding!

How long does it take to receive my photos?

Edited images for Family, Kids, Newborn, and Maternity sessions are typically delivered within 7 to 14 days after your session. Senior Portraits may take a little longer, depending on the package selected.

Depending on Alycia’s workload and the time of year, you may even receive your photos within 2 days—Alycia strives to provide quick turnarounds when possible.

How long are my photos kept on file?

Alycia stores your session images for up to 2 years in case you need a backup.

What if I don’t download my images before the gallery expires?

If your online gallery expires before you’ve downloaded your images, a $25 re-upload fee will apply to restore access.

Can I purchase a USB thumb drive with my images?

Yes! A USB thumb drive containing your edited images is available for $20, upon request.

Who owns the photographs?

When you purchase your digital downloads, you receive the rights to use and print the edited images for personal use. Alycia provides a print release, allowing you to print your photos at the lab of your choice.

You are also welcome to use any images Alycia shares from your session on her Facebook Business Page as your profile or cover photo.

Please note: These images are for personal use only. Commercial use, resale, or publication of the images requires prior written permission and a separate licensing agreement.

What should we wear?

If you’re unsure what to wear or want feedback on outfit choices or color coordination, feel free to email or call Alycia—she’s happy to offer suggestions and guidance!

What kind of backdrops and props are available?

Alycia offers a wide variety of backdrops and props to choose from. Sessions are not pre-planned, allowing her to coordinate the setup based on your outfits and preferences for a personalized experience.

If you have a specific vision, you’re welcome to request certain backdrops or props, or even bring your own to make the session more meaningful.

If you see a particular prop in one of Alycia’s photos that you’d like to use, please reach out in advance to confirm it’s available, as some props may have been brought in by clients and are not part of Alycia’s personal collection.

What should I bring/expect for my Newborn Photo Session?

For your newborn session, feel free to bring any props, wraps, or outfits you’d like to incorporate into the photos. If you’re unsure, Alycia has a wide selection of props available for you to choose from.

To help your baby feel comfortable and sleepy during the session, it’s important to feed your baby beforehand. This will help ensure they are calm and relaxed for the photos.

If your baby uses a pacifier, be sure to bring it along. It can be a helpful tool to soothe and calm your baby throughout the session.

Newborn sessions are typically longer, ranging from 1 to 3 hours, as Alycia will work patiently to get the best shots for you and your little one. Keep in mind that breaks for feeding and soothing are completely normal during the session.

Please be mindful when choosing a newborn photographer—you’ll want to select someone with extensive experience in handling newborns and a strong focus on safety. Alycia has years of experience and prioritizes both the comfort of your baby and the safety of each pose.

Does Alycia Holland Photography work on weekends or holidays?

Currently, Alycia Holland Photography does not schedule sessions on weekends or holidays to allow for quality time with her family. However, in certain circumstances, she may be available for weekend sessions. Please contact Alycia directlyto inquire about availability, and she will let you know if she can accommodate your request.
