What is the cost of the sitting fee for a photo session?

The sitting fee for a Family Session, Kids Session and Maternity Session is $100-$150.  The sitting fee for a Newborn sessions is $175.  The sitting fee will need to be paid the day of your photo session. This includes a 45 minute to an hour session with location of your choice or in-studio photographs.

How much are Holiday Mini Sessions and what does it all include?

Mini sessions are $115, with a deposit of $40 due when you book online. Remaining balance will need to be paid in full the day of the photos.  This includes a 20 minute session, 10-20 digital downloads, one backdrop, multiple poses, online gallery to share and download your photos.

Can I schedule a Mini Session instead of a full photo session?

No. Mini Sessions are scheduled by Alycia, only around the Holidays and it is first come first serve online reservations only.

How long does a photo session take?

Family, Maternity and Kids sessions usually take 45 minutes to 1 hour. 

Newborn sessions are a little longer lasting about 2 sometimes even 3 hours.

Senior Portraits last 30 minutes up to 3 hours depending on your package choice.

Holiday Mini sessions are 15-20 minutes.

Can I bring extended family members to my session/Holiday Mini Session?

Feel free to bring your cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters ect. to your session.  The sitting fee of $100 is for up to 6 people. Sitting fee may change depending on the amount of people.

For Holiday Mini Sessions, if you want photographs taken with other family members you will have to book two time slots back-to-back and the cost is $115 per slot.

Can we take family photos during a Holiday Mini Session?

Alycia's mini sessions are set up for kids only.  She will, however offer some family mini sessions (Mother's Day/Christmas) and will advertise this on her Facebook Business Page when those mini sessions come available.

How far in advance should I book a session?

If you are looking for fall, winter or Christmas photos, during the months of September to December, you will want to book about 2-4 months in advance.  These months are the busiest time of year and book up fast.  All other months please book a 1-2 months in advance.

For Newborn sessions you will want to book within the first 10 days of birth for best posing options.  You can call, Facebook message or email Alycia as soon as you have your bundle of joy and she will work around you and your family to schedule the best possible time that works for you.

Alycia's Holiday Mini Sessions are scheduled by her.  She will put a post out on her Facebook Business Page with a link to sign up for a spot. A deposit of $40 is due at this time as well to reserve your spot. These fill up very quickly so keep an eye out around the holiday months for her post. Due to high demand for the mini sessions Alycia cannot reserve spots in advance. Thank you for your understanding.

How long does it take to get my photos back?

Family, Kids, Newborns, Maternity, and Senior portraits usually take 7-14 days after the photographs are taken.

How long does Alycia keep photos on file in case I was to loose my images?

Alycia will keep your photos on file for up to 2 years. 

School sports photos are kept on file and will not be deleted.

What if I don't download my images off my Online Gallery by the expiration date?

There will be a re-upload fee of $25.00 if you do not download your photos by the expiration date.

Can I purchase a Thumb Drive of my images?

Yes. Thumb drives are available for $20.

What makes Alycia Holland Photography different?

Alycia has a great deal of experience along with a Photography degree from Montana State University with extensive knowledge in lighting techniques, studio work and editing in Photoshop.  She will take any and all suggestions from clients and do her best to make each and every photo session a great experience and unique to you.  Alycia is very flexible and is willing to work around the clock to suit your schedule.  She makes your photo session really personal, and keeps it affordable. She is located in the Metals Bank building which is a historical building in Uptown Butte. If you prefer she will be more than happy to do outdoor sessions as well.  She even takes clients right outside her studio around Historical Uptown Butte! 

Who owns the photographs?

When you purchase digital downloads, which includes all of the edited images, then you will have the rights to the photographs as well. Alycia will also give you a personal print release form to print anywhere you would like.  Clients may also use Alycia's photographs that she posts on her Facebook Business Page as their profile picture.

What should we wear?

If you want to run outfits by Alycia or colors you should wear feel free to email or even call.  She has all kinds of suggestions!

What kind of backdrops/props/etc. are available?

Alycia has all kinds of backdrops and props for you to choose from.  She does not plan your photo shoot ahead of time; she will coordinate with what you are wearing and what you prefer in your photos.  If you want to choose your own backdrops or props, feel free to do so! Clients are more than welcome to bring their own props as well. 

What should I bring/expect for my Newborn Photo Session?

You may bring any props, wraps or outfits that you want to have your newborn take photos with. If you are unsure Alycia has plenty of props for you to choose from as well. Make sure the baby is fed beforehand so he/she will be nice and sleepy for the session. If your baby uses a pacifier please make sure to bring it, we will use it quite a bit to make the baby calm if needed. 

Does Alycia Holland Photography work on the weekends or Holidays?

Unfortunately, as of right now she is not booking sessions on the weekends or Holidays so she can spend more time with her Family.  In certain circumstances she may be available to take a weekend session but you will have to contact her to see if she is able to accommodate.
